Formed in 2000 as a Theatre and Poetry Slam Project , played and recorded Music for Swiss Poet PEDRO LENZ , and Theater Director MATTO KAEMPF and transformed trough the years into a BAD TASTE LOWBROW MUSIC MONSTER .... Beat-Man ( Reverend Beat-Man, the Monsters ) Olifr.M.Guz ( die Aeronauten, GUZ ) and Patrick Abt ( Bigger Club) had One splendid Idea, not to rehearsal once for DIE ZORROS and going straight into the studio with only Grips of ideas in the heads of songs or cover versions ,then push the recording bottom .. that means.. 10 minutes working quick at the structure of the song idea and then record it ( Olifr.M.Guz recorded everything, running from the organ to the recording desk and Back ).. if the song at the end is 2 minutes, they worked 12 minutes on writing and recording.. with one word DIE ZORROS ARE THE FASTEST WORKING BAND IN THE WHOLE GALAXIE , and definitely should be in the Guiness Book of Records 2012

Diese glorreichen Rächer fuchteln nicht nur gnadenlos mit ihren musikalischen Floretten, sie schlagen auch hart, sie schlagen zurück. Wer The Zorros heisst, weiss: Das als Gute verkleidete Schlechte muss mit seinen eigenen Waffen geschlagen werden. Das Trio covert darum Gassenhauer um üblen Gassenhauer (von «The Final Countdown» an abwärts ist alles drin); dabei wird lediglich aus der Erinnerung rekonstruiert. Weil Üben ist für Spiesser. Und das Schlechte wird gut. Und ein wilder Spass obendrein!

That 2ND Album ( 1st one : the History of rock vol 7 , voodoo rhythm records 2002 ) is full with Obscure stuff and Smash hits they Squeeze trough the Meat Grinder like Amy Winehouse REHAB ( NO NO NO ) turns from a Soul Number into a FARFISA ORGAN FIASKO , the Lyrics are complety cut town on one word NO and the drum solo is the Worst the World ever has heard of, in MEEK MY JOE , they do a homage to JOE MEEK who had a big influence on the Music of DIE ZORROS, ROD STEWARD 'SAILING' is a Small Town local Beer Joint Dance Band Desaster, recorded Live and Commented by a Local DJ Many, their own Songs are all Killer Intrumental Smashers like ' THE SHARK a Surf number or the Phenomenal Free Jazz song 'THE STREETS OF BALTIMORE recorded Live at : 'Freiburger Jazz Tage' and Many Many Many more... 17 SONGS AND NO MERCY !!!

Imagine Mrs Miller and King Uszniewitch having a band together and making dance music in the 60's 70's sleazy cheesy dance club style !!! this is it !!! Puke party with Long Drinks and very very cheap girs... Beat-Man (the Monsters, Reverend Beat-Man) on Drums, Olifr M.Guz (GUZ, die Aeronauten, Averells) on the Farfisa organ, and Patrik Abt (Betty Guzzy Orchestra) on the Guitar and Bass... this bands destroys such Smash hits like Carlos Santana's Europe...doing a Spaghetti Western Version of Europes 'final countdown... and and and.. they are having 140% no respect to this great songs.. covering as simple and stupid as possible, Uraiah Heep, Led Zeppelin Los Bravos... a sure hit for every party that is already over Get Buzzed Drink more and Dance do the Sound of die Zorros !!!!!!!
Die Zorros... first was a Theatre Project for a Swiss country style act... but the 3 musicians thought it was so fun to play together so they desight to go on with this band... good for the band ...bad for the audience.. what you get live it a band who is very good in a corner on in a toilet... it's definitely no band for a big festival or so... they make party music and play on their own PA, the organ always has problems and the organ player always drinks way too much white wine, the drummer is almost always out of the regular beat and the guitarist is constantly flirting with the girls in the audience and forgets the songs immediately..
